Description:
Repaired ten (10) rolling hangar doors, each approximately 20’ wide x 30’ high.
Repaired existing steel door frames to accommodate new, adjustable top guide rollers and bottom wheels, drive mechanisms, and other devices.
Replaced fuselage doors and canvas boot to provide a flexible, weather-tight seal around the fuselage of a parked B-1b aircraft. New insulation, exterior panels, interior panels, roller bearings, and guides were provided.
Painted all surfaces of the existing and altered framework of all doors.
Installed associated electrical including breakers, variable frequency drives, conduit pathway and disconnect, and new hangar door power track system.
Controls included pneumatic door sensors, alarm system, and a limit switch and relay that shuts down power to the mechanical system when the doors are in the open position.
Provided new insulated steel personnel doors with continuous hinges, panic bar hardware, and weather stripping.
