Description:
Designed and constructed a new, 60’ x 125’ x 15’ steel building to be used as a fitness and storage facility. Facility has a standing seam metal roof, with metal gutters and downspouts.
Design completed in-house with support from professional engineering consultants for structural design and geotechnical engineering services.
Provided galvanized chain-link fence fabric (12’ height) on the sides of the building. Openings included two metal pedestrian doors.
Installed a 10’-wide cantilever gate.
Installed concrete support piers for the new building and cantilever gate support beams, concrete footings for the free-standing pedestrian door structures, and concrete pad for the electrical and communication equipment.
Electrical work included a new step-down transformer, panel, circuit breaker, GFI duplex receptacles, conduit and wire infrastructure, and grounding rod and wire for the transformer.
Sustainable features: motion sensors for occupancy control of lighting, EPDM rubber surface for the gym, and walls made of chain link material with privacy slats providing air flow.
