Description:
Constructed a new warehouse by relocating an existing masonry material storage bunker to an alternate location and constructing an approximately 2,000-SF metal storage building.
Design and construction phases were managed by MW Services, including all required civil, structural, and electrical engineering services.
Required close coordination with NAVFAC representatives, design consultants, and multiple end users including Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Navy Seabees.
AIT building is constructed of a three-sided retaining wall, incorporating the new retaining walls into the building, and using locally sourced steel fabricators for steel members including structural steel, secondary steel members, siding, roll-up doors, and personnel doors.
Building includes interior LED lighting with California Title 24-compliant controls, as well as exterior LED area lights.
Required construction of a new masonry materials storage bunker in an alternate location for use by the Navy Seabees.
