Description:
Renovated 37 standard dental treatment rooms, 2 ortho rooms, hospital dentistry suite, and two offices inside a 28,000 sq. ft. facility.
Performed in multiple phases, each phase requiring temporary shut-down of utilities. As each phase was completed, the Government was given beneficial occupancy for the finished area while work was performed in other spaces.
Coordinated with the systems furniture company for project phasing to ready spaces for the shipment of new dental equipment.
Removed existing dental equipment and associated utilities, including all cabinetry and finishes in each suite.
Installed new utilities in the interstitial space underneath the clinic to support the new locations for the suction/vacuum, potable water, compressed air and medical gas needs for the exam and operations chairs.
Rooms received new cabinetry, lighting, and finishes including medical/operational grade flooring, ceilings, and wall finishes.
Project was completed 30 days ahead of schedule, even with additional work that was issued to perform lead and mold abatement (found after the walls were opened).
