Description:

• Renovated a 19,000-SF, multi-level dormitory building including 76 bedrooms and 38 suite bathrooms.

• Suite improvements included new birch closet, entry, and bathroom doors in all bedrooms, and painting of walls, ceilings, door frames, trim, and previously painted surfaces. New cabinets and accessories were installed in each bedroom and bathroom.

• Restrooms received new porcelain floor tile and ceramic wall tile, as well as new fixtures including sinks, toilets, and fiberglass shower units.

• Replaced the existing fresh air and exhaust mechanical system. Six roof-mounted exhaust fans were installed, including all ductwork necessary to join the new exhaust fans with the exhaust grilles in each bathroom.

• Plumbing included replacement of all existing drainage, waste, and vent piping, fixtures, and domestic hot and cold-water piping throughout the facility.

• All flooring throughout the facility was replaced with the exception of the laundry room. New acoustical ceilings were provided in corridors and common rooms.

• Existing sprinkler heads were replaced with new heads and flexible drops.

• All light fixtures with exception of the laundry room fixtures were replaced.
